Mental Health Services

Child laborers constitute one of the most vulnerable segments of society. Their harrowing past experiences often inflict profound mental and emotional wounds, which, if left untreated, can escalate into more severe mental illnesses. Recognizing this urgent need and the scarcity of child-specialized psychologists, the Raha Charity Foundation has embarked on a transformative initiative.
In response to the pressing need for mental health support for these vulnerable children, the foundation has launched specialized child training courses. These courses are designed to equip 20 psychologists, graduates in clinical and educational psychology, with the specialized skills necessary to address the unique challenges faced by children in distress. Led by experienced international professors, these training programs aim to cultivate expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health issues specific to children.
Upon completion of the training, these psychologists, in collaboration with Raha Charity Foundation, will offer individual and group psychotherapy counseling services. These services will be provided free of charge to needy children in the community, ensuring access to crucial mental health support regardless of financial constraints.
Importantly, these services will be conducted under the supervision of volunteer experts, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism. By harnessing the collective expertise of trained professionals and dedicated volunteers, the foundation endeavors to create a supportive network capable of addressing the mental health needs of vulnerable children comprehensively.
