Rahanet, renowned for its exceptional internet services, has set higher goals to support Afghanistan's vulnerable populations. Afghanistan, a third-world country, faces immense challenges, particularly for its children and women. Despite numerous national and international organizations working to assist these groups, the need for additional support remains because many of these efforts focus on short-term goals, failing to make a lasting impact.
To address this gap, Rahanet founded the Raha Charity Foundation (RCF) in 2019, aiming to make a significant difference in the lives of child laborers. RCF's mission is to provide these children with education, skill development, and opportunities to thrive in the Afghan society. By focusing on long-term solutions, RCF seeks to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation that entraps many children.
Rahanet has been the sole donor of RCF since its inception, playing a crucial role in sustaining the charity. This support has enabled RCF to implement various programs, including access to education, healthcare, psychosocial services, transportation, nutrition, vocational training, community awareness campaigns and etc. These initiatives highlight the importance of education and the dangers of child labor.
